CLEVELAND, OH – On Wednesday, July 20, Mark Pischea, Partner of the Sterling Corporation, a division of Lambert, Edwards & Associates, and also the Executive Director of the Conservative Energy Network will speak at a forum showcasing leading conservative thinkers and their solutions to environmental sustainability and energy issues. Pischea will focus on conservative policies that enhance economic, national and environmental security.
The event, organized by the American Sustainable Business Council (ASBC), will be held from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Cleveland State University (CSU), 1801 Euclid Ave in Cleveland. It is free and open to the public. Reservations are required and may be made here: http://bit.ly/ASBC_RNC_DNC
“Too often, conservatives have allowed energy and sustainability issues to be dominated by the political Left,” said Mark Pischea of the Conservative Energy Network. “Conservatives can come to the table with real solutions to pressing energy and sustainability problems that affect our economy, national security, and natural resources. The time is now for conservatives to lead on energy policy – increasing our commitment to clean, renewable energy and energy efficiency, while encouraging innovation, economic development and entrepreneurship.”

“As private and public sector initiatives both demonstrate, we can have a more sustainable world without growing government or extensive regulation, while encouraging choice, providing clear pricing signals, and limiting the concentration of power,” said Richard Eidlin, Vice President of Policy and Campaigns at ASBC. “Through this forum we will explore how conservative thought can enhance sustainable goals and create better public policy.”
In addition to conservative policies that enhance national and environmental security, other panels at the forum will cover business strategies for environmental sustainability as a competitive advantage, and how to build an economy of entrepreneurs and innovators.
